37 year old keeper Louis Godwin-Green has been involved in senior football since he was just under 18 years of age, joining his local club, Southend Manor, where he spent 2.5 seasons.
After spells at Basildon United and Chatham Town, he then joined Great Wakering Rovers where he became a stalwart, spending 7 seasons between the sticks.
After short stays at Burnham Ramblers, Billericay Town, Witham Town & Bowers & Pitsea, he was understudy to ex- Tottenham keeper Ian Walker at Bishops Stortford.
He joined Catholic United in January 2016 and made his Superhoops debut on the 23rd January 2016, in a 3-1 win at home to Great Baddow in the Essex Olympian League Division 2.
Since then he has gone on to make over 140 appearances for the club and maintains his dominance in goal for the first team.
